Frequently Asked Questions
Second-hand vs. new
Purchasing a second-hand instrument is a great way to get a better model for a lower price.
Good quality student instruments are typically built to a decent standard and with the proper care and maintenance, they will last a long time.
Most students won’t notice the difference between a second hand instrument and a new one. There may be some general wear and tear and perhaps some cosmetic damage to the case, but the instruments will be in fine working order and play as good as new.
All of our second hand instruments for sale are fully serviced and professionally cleaned.
How are payments taken?
Upon requesting to purchase an instrument, you’ll receive an invoice with bank details allowing you to pay.
Alternatively, you will be able to pay in-person upon collection/delivery, via cash or card.
We do not currently facilitate automated online ordering for second-hand instruments.
If you have any questions on the process, please contact us.
What's the right instrument for me (or my child)?
We normally recommend seeking the advice of the teacher whom you’ll be taken lessons with. Talking with the teacher usually ensures that a good choice is made. There are a number of standard things to consider when choosing a new instrument, such as; the age of the player, the experience of the player, musical interests, budget, sound & tone.
