London Flute Rental Services
If you’re interested in starting to learn the Flute, but the idea of a long-term commitment isn’t ideal, one of the best ways to begin is with a rented instrument. A rented Flute will enable you to try and use a high quality instrument without the upfront costs of an outright purchase.
The London Music Co Flute Rental scheme is here to provide you with an instrument that not only meets the approval of your teacher, but one that has been set up to be easier to play for the starting student.
An all-inclusive service at a reasonable monthly cost, our fully insured and completely paperless Flute rental service can be quickly set up remotely or in-person. Flutes can even be delivered to your door by one of our experienced representatives via our optional in-person delivery service.

Renting a Flute gives you the benefit of having time to try an instrument without the upfront cost of purchasing. Although over longer periods of time, it is certainly more cost-effective to purchase, renting is a hassle-free alternative. An additional benefit is that you get to know the instrument a bit better, which means when it comes time to buy, you can make the most informed decision.

What's the right Flute for me?
We normally recommend seeking the advice of the teacher whom you’ll be taken lessons with, to ensure that a good choice is made, however, you should always consider the following when choosing a Flute; Instrument Weight, and Budget.
Also be aware that we also offer rental on flutes fitted with a Curved Head Joint, this makes it easier for younger students (typically under the age of 8 years old) to hold the instrument comfortably. You can request a Curved Head Joint when you fill out the online rental form.

Are your rental Flutes new or used?
In an effort to recycle & re-use instruments, the majority of our instruments in our rental fleet are refurbished by our technicians.

Can I purchase my rented instrument?
All of our Flute Rental Instruments are available on a ‘rent to buy’ scheme, this allows you to deduct the first 3 months of rental payments off the retail price should you wish to purchase your rented instrument.
