Renting allows you to enjoy a higher quality instrument than you may otherwise have purchased, this is especially true for beginners and children who are starting out afresh. With our rent-to-buy scheme, you can have the best of both worlds.

An additional benefit is that you get to know your chosen instrument a bit better, which means when it comes time to buy, you can make the most informed decision.

A refundable Security Deposit equivalent to 3 months rental is paid in advance.

All rental payments are taken monthly via the online Direct Debit portal GoCardless.

We normally recommend seeking the advice of the teacher whom you’ll be taken lessons with. However, there are a number of standard things to consider when choosing a new instrument, such as; the age of the player, the experience of the player, musical interests, budget, sound & tone.

In an effort to recycle & re-use instruments, the majority of our instruments in our rental fleet are refurbished by our technicians.

All parts are replaced and the instruments receive a full service to ensure they perform to the same standards, and sometimes even better than the new equivalent.

All of our Rental Instruments are available on a ‘rent to buy’ scheme, this allows you to deduct the first 3 months of rental payments off the retail price should you wish to purchase your rented instrument.

All repairs are assessed on an individual basis, so there is no ‘catch-all’ pricing.

All repairs are booked into our system and scheduled for an estimated date of completion. You will be informed of when the repair is due to be completed when the instrument is assessed for repair.

Should there be a delay expected for any reason you will be informed by the technician.

All work is scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis, although if a repair is extremely urgent, we can usually accommodate a tight deadline. Please bear in mind we will not compromise on the quality of our work to hit a tight deadline.

All repairs are guaranteed for a period of 3 months from the completion date.

Please communicate any issues you have with your instrument directly to us and we will provide assistance where applicable.

We currently do collections in the London borough of Haringey, as well as Edgware, Barnet, Finchley, Highgate & Archway.

If you’re outside of these areas but still require collection of your instrument, please reach out to us and we may be able to assist.

There are many factors that affect the price of one to one music lessons, such as qualifications, experience and whether the teacher travel to you or teachers from home.

The Musicians Union recommends an hourly rate is £35 for music teaching, however, in our experience, this is normally higher in London and can be anything from £40 – 60.

We don’t verify that teachers on our database are CRB or DBS checked, but most music teachers who have worked in the UK school system, will be required to maintain a regular CRB and will usually list it on their profile.

All teachers should be happy to share evidence of their CRB or DBS status with you in advance of any lessons with your child.

Lesson length is a common question we get asked. The first thing we suggest taking into consideration is the age of the student, we find that younger beginners, can benefit from lessons of 30 – 45 minutes as.
