London Guitar Rental Services
If you’re interested in starting to learn the Classical Guitar, but the idea of a long-term commitment isn’t ideal, one of the best ways to begin is with a rented instrument. A rented Classical Guitar will enable you to try and use a high quality instrument without the upfront costs of an outright purchase.
The London Music Co Guitar Rental scheme is here to provide you with an instrument that gets the approval of your teacher and is ideal for student musicians.
An all-inclusive service at a reasonable monthly cost, our fully insured and completely paperless Guitar Rental service can be quickly set up remotely or in-person. Classical Guitars can even be delivered to your door by one of our experienced representatives via our optional in-person delivery service.

Frequently Asked Questions
Rental vs. Purchase
Renting a Guitar gives you the benefit of having time to try an instrument without the upfront cost of purchasing.
It’s particularly favourable when you are encouraging your children to take up an instrument and don’t want to buy them something that they’ll potentially lose interest in.
Many schools offer guitar lessons for their students and the guitars we provide are ideal for this. Some schools have a scheme where they provide the guitars, so this is well worth checking out too.
Our rental scheme also allows you to transition to purchasing a nicer model of guitar with a contribution to the cost coming from your rental, so as you learn and progress, you don’t have to feel restricted to a student guitar.

What's the right Guitar for me?
We normally recommend seeking the advice of the teacher whom you’ll be taken lessons with, to ensure that a good choice is made, however, you should always consider the following when choosing a Guitar: playability, tone and most importantly if a child – the size of the instrument.
Classical Guitars come in a variety of sizes and we offer sizes from 1/2 size all the way up to full size. A child of a certain age/height will typically match up to a specific size of Classical Guitar and we’ll be able to help you with making the right choice.

Are your rental Guitars new or used?
Our Rental Guitars are all made in Spain and are typically supplied brand new. You may get a Guitar that has been previously rented, cleaned and prepared.
We try to recycle & re-use instruments wherever possible in a effort to reduce waste.
Can I purchase my rented instrument?
We provide a range of upgrade options available for purchase via our Guitar Rental scheme. This enables students to try and buy an instrument of a higher grade that they can keep and play for a long time.
A discount is provided on this purchase equivalent to 3 months of rental payments.
