I am an experienced teacher who’s primary aim is to get you inspired and engaged with all aspects of piano playing. No matter whether your goal is to pass exams, perform or just play for pleasure, I will ensure you leave the lessons feeling confident in your understanding of the fundamentals of music.

Lessons can either take place at my home in Crouch End, or I can travel to addresses in the local area at a small additional cost. Online lessons are also available via Zoom.

I am a pianist, composer, singer and teacher based in London. Classically trained and inspired by jazz pianist Bill Evans/ Herbie Hancock, I have performed at the National Theatre and performed with Bill Laurance as part of his UK tour. I have released an EP ‘Sun’ and has composed a short musical film called ‘Road to Dad’s.’

I undertook a year working in a top London private school ‘St Dunstan’s College’, where I taught Key Stage 3 Music as well as GSCE/ A Level Music. I was a sought after private tutor to students and was an inspiration to the musicians at the department.

I am a classically trained singer and pianist based in London with teaching experience for over 10 years online and in-person.

I have obtained my Bachelor degree in piano & music education at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media in Germany, my master’s diploma in vocal pedagogy at the Conservatory of Lucerne and my master`s degree in vocal performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a pianist, I have been performing on stage since the age of 7 and have been a member of several chamber music formations such as the Lower Saxony Youth Symphony Orchestra (NJO). I have been awarded the 2nd Prize in the Piano Solo Category of the national youth competition “Bundeswettbewerb Jugend Musiziert” in Germany.

I have been teaching piano to students from Years 7 to 18 for many years at the International Boarding School Ecole d’Humanité in Switzerland and have experience in working individually as well as with small groups.

I have been preparing my students regularly for school performances and ABRSM exams.

Besides my work at the Ecole d’Humanité, I have been teaching singing and piano to private students of various ages and nationalities and been giving vocal masterclasses in Jakarta and Bandung on my Indonesian concert tour in 2019.

I enjoy very much the process of helping people of any age discover their talents. It is never too late to learn something new!

I make sure to tailor my lessons to my student’s needs and wishes and help them improve their technique and musicality in a safe and positive environment. Being an active performer myself with a lot of experience on stage, I can especially help with performance skills such as stage presence, storytelling and stage fright.

I have over 20yrs experience of teaching pupils aged 4-18yrs.  I have taught in several local schools but now (due to lockdown) am offering online lessons.  I love teaching music theory for those interested in moving beyond Grade 5 (ABRSM) on their given instrument.  Understanding music theory fills in the holes/gaps in knowledge gained purely from practical experience.

I teach people of all ages and abilities and am happy to fit the lessons around what you would like to learn. I went through the traditional ABRSM grade format myself but went on to study popular music and songwriting, so can adapt to teach in a range of musical styles.

Although I have the most experience teaching piano, I can also offer flute tuition and music theory/composition tuition as well. I feel that there is often a lot of focus in music lessons around the performance aspect, and whilst this is obviously very important I like to keep the creative side of things present in lessons too.

I am a classically trained pianist to ABRSM Diploma (ARSM) standard with extensive teaching and mentoring experience; working with students of all age groups. I have completed all ABRSM classical grades and have tutored pupils up to and including diploma standard. I was awarded the Maidstone Young Musician of The Year Award in 2019.
